Lock-Ups - local community business leaders are arrested for having big hearts and come to jail to raise money for MDA by posting bail. They are always in need of volunteers to help with mug shots, being bail bondsmen and much more!

Support Groups: MDA offers a wide range of support groups to the individuals that it serves: They offer a general support group for the Kansas City area, an ALS support group for the Kansas City area, a general support group for the Topeka, Area, and a Young Adult Support group for the Kansas City area. All groups meet bi-monthly. They also host a Parent Breakfast which meets bi-annually.
