    National Rehabilitation Association
    The National Rehabilitation Association is a membership organization of rehabilitation professionals. Members include rehab counselors, physical, speech and occupational therapists, job trainers, consultants, independent living instructors and other professionals involved in the advocacy of programs and services for people with disabilities.

    National Council for Support of Disability
    Provide a means for sharing information, resources, ideas and support between people with all types of disabilities.

    National Council on Disability
    An independent federal agency which promotes policies, programs, practices and procedures that guarantees equal opportunity for all people with disabilities.

    Federal Communications Commission
    The FCC enforces ADA requirements for telecommunications accessibility, and provides technical assistance resources for telephone relay service (TRS), video description, and closed captioning. The website also provides information on filing telecommunications-related ADA complaints.

    Provides leadership to increase employment of adults and youth with disabilities.

    Social Security Administration
    Federal programs that provide assistance to people with disabilities.

    National Disability Rights Network
    A nonprofit membership organization for the federally mandated Protection and Advocacy (P&A) Systems and Client Assistance Programs (CAP) for individuals with disabilities.

    Brain Injury Association
    The mission of the Brain Injury Association is to create a better future through brain injury prevention, research, education and advocacy. BIA has 47 state associations, contacts in every state and a network of over 800 support groups.

    National Spinal Cord Injury Association
    The NSCIA has chapters throughout the United States which works with local and national officials and agencies to develop better programs and services and acting as community advocates for improved access, housing, transportation, employment, and leisure time activities for disabled people. Peer support and other services are also provided.

    Spina Bifida Association
    The Spina Bifida Association of America is a national membership organization with several local chapters around the nation that support people with spina bifida through advocacy, programs, services and research.

    American Stoke Association
    The American Stroke Association is a division of the American Heart Association that focuses on reducing risk, disability and death from stroke through research, education, fund raising and advocacy.

    United Cerebral Palsy
    UCP provides direct services for more than 30,000 children and adults with various disabilities (including cerebral palsy) and their families, through UCP affiliates - a nationwide network of 111 affiliates in 39 states.

    Easter Seals
    Easter Seals provides rehabilitation, day care, employment, and recreation services to more than one million children and adults with various disabilities and their families, at more than 400 sites across the country.

    National Multiple Sclerosis Society
    Through its 50-state network of chapters, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds research, furthers education, advocates for people with disabilities, and provides a variety of programs for the third of a million Americans who have MS and their families

    Muscular Dystrophy
    MDA is a voluntary health agency with more than 200 offices across the country, providing direct medical and support services, public awareness and research projects concerning neuromuscular diseases.

    Muscular Dystrophy’s ALS Division
     MDA is the world leader among voluntary agencies in fighting Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease), offering the most comprehensive range of services. People with ALS receive care at 36 MDA/ALS centers or at any of the 240 MDA outpatient clinics across the country. MDA also leads the search for a treatment or cure for ALS through its aggressive, worldwide research program.

Through its 150 chapters and service points nationwide, it provides community-based programs to make life with arthritis easier.

    Mission is to enhance the lives and independence of polio survivors and home ventilator users through education, advocacy, research and networking. 

    American Parkinson Disease Association
    The organization focuses its energies on research, patient support, education and raising public awareness of the disease.

    Alzheimer’s Foundation
    Provide care and services to individuals confronting dementia, and to their caregivers and families.

    Amputee Coalition of America
    A national, non-profit amputee consumer educational organization representing people who have experienced amputation or are born with limb differences.

    Goodwill Industry International
    Goodwill is one of the world's largest nonprofit providers of employment and training services for people with disabilities through a network of autonomous community-based organizations providing services in response to local needs. It strives to achieve the full participation in society of people with disabilities and other individuals with special needs.
